- Pray for the team in Israel to have the Lord’s favor and anointing as they produce more of Derek’s material and connect with many people online and in person. Pray for Directors George and Betty Jackson to have more opportunities to minister in Israel.
- Testimony – Israel: One of our workers from Israel wrote: “During the lockdown, a lot of people were online so we seized this opportunity to connect with them via our DPM Israel Facebook page. Also, we started a Bible Study Correspondence Course on our DPM Israel app where people could study and complete ‘exams’ like the Self-Study Bible Course. We have had great response and engagement from this course. It’s really been a blessed time.”
Dear Lord, I want to make a firm, unreserved commitment to You. I thank and praise You for the wonderful and eternally precious gift of eternal life, of salvation. Thank You for what You have done for me at the Cross, thank You that You have given Yourself completely, unreservedly, for my salvation. Help me to fix my eyes on what is not seen with my natural eyes. Open the eyes of my heart and spirit to see the hope in the calling You have given me. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
Lord, I’m now beginning to see more and more how immensely important it is to really listen to Your voice. Open my ears and my heart to discern Your voice, and help me to see how different Your voice is from what the accuser tries to tell me. I know You are love, and whatever You say, will be in love. Thank You for that! In Jesus’ Name, amen.
Dear Lord, help me to give less thought and attention to the things of time than to the things of eternity. Help me to never lose sight of eternal values and teach me to make the right priorities in my life. Even when things are easy for me, perhaps for a while, I pray You’ll help me to realize my home is not on this Earth, but with You. When troubles come, Lord, and I know they will come, help me to put down deep roots in You, and in Your Word, so I’ll not be swept away. Lord, in this uneasy and difficult times, help me to bea beacon of trust and hope in You. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
Dear Lord Jesus, I thank You that it is Your will that I prosper: in my spirit, my soul, and also in the material realm. Help me to always listen to Your voice, to diligently obey You and to walk in humility. Help me to not only receive Your blessings, but to also be a giver of Your blessings. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
Ina is completing the work on Life-Changing Spiritual Power (6-book combination) in Xhosa and then will do the final edit on the Tshwane book. Pray for her as she tackles these African language books. It is a challenging project.
Thank You Jesus that You have paid the price with Your precious Blood on the slave market where I stood, for sale, because of my own sin. Thank You that You have redeemed me, bought me back for God. I realize I belong to You. You are my Creator, and I had turned away from You. Thank You for Your immense grace and mercy, that You were willing to pay the ultimate price! In Jesus’ Name, amen.
- ZNBC Radio Director, Alex Mukuta, was airing Derek’s teaching in Kitwe. He has since moved to Lusaka. He has been approached to see if he would broadcast Derek’s teaching there. Pray that Derek’s program can be aired again in Zambia.
- Co-worker Rickie van der Walt, hopes to travel again to Zambia where he will distribute Derek’s books and DVDs that are then passed on to pastors from Zambia, Angola and Congo. Pray for God’s timing for his trip and for the needed funds.
Father, I know I was under Satan’s power, and that I was incapable of escaping by myself. I realize I was a slave, and far away from You, without hope and light. I’m so immensely grateful for Your grace, that You didn’t leave me there, but that Jesus was willing to become Man, took upon Him my sin, and paid the price for my redemption. I will be eternally grateful! Thank You! In Jesus’ Name, amen.
