Dear Father, I want to be submitted to You, and to Your Holy Spirit, especially in the domain of my tongue. Help me to guard my mouth, to let my words be few, coming out the right source. Help me to think before I speak, yes, to pray before I speak and be very careful to do as I say. Help me to close my ears when I hear negative talk, and to never participate in that, especially not in gossiping, but speak with mercy and grace. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
