Dear Father, thank You for the hope I have in You, through Your Son Jesus Christ. Hope in this life, and hope for eternity. Thank You that You are my refuge and my fortress! Thank You, lord Jesus, that You are the Resurrection and the Life, and that even when I die, I will in fact only ‘fall asleep’, only to wake up in Your presence. Thank You for this wonderful security You give me, that I’m not without hope. Father, I pray for those who are without hope, open their hearts, Lord, and help me to be a beacon of hope and light for them. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
