Lord, I choose to persevere in faith and to not throw away my confidence. Thank You for the encouragement that the perseverance to do Your will is only for a short time. What a great power lies in the assurance that You are coming back. Please help me to look forward to Your Return so that I will not be distracted by the temporal things of this world, but find my joy and perseverance in the assurance of Your Return. Amen.
