Dear Lord, I want to be close to you and walk with you, but I also see the hidden tendency in my heart to live independently from You and to earn a certain level of self-righteousness. Thank you for forgiving me and for being patience with me. Your grace in Jesus Christ is enough to make me holy and righteous. Amen.
