Dear Father, I do not want to deceive myself, so I ask You to search my heart and spirit, and cleanse the source of my heart. I pray that rivers of life may flow from my belly. Please guard my lips and help me to keep a tight reign on my tongue, aligning my spirit with You. And Lord, direct me how I can be a blessing, both through my words and deeds, especially for those in real need. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
