Lord Jesus, let my strength come from You alone and help me to develop the same meekness that characterises You. I realise I need to die to my 'self' daily. Help me to say no to my ego and to the cravings of my soul where they are not in line with Your will and to grow into Your likeness in my words, deeds and choices. Amen.
