  1. Death Before Resurrection

Thank You Jesus, that You are the ultimate example. That You have passed through life, that You have known the disappointment of Your people turning its back on You. But thank You for Your grace and patience, that You want to have a deep personal relationship also with me. Help me, Lord, to not serve You because You are my Master and Lord, which You are, but because I really want to know You intimately, as You want me to know and have fellowship with me. Thank You Lord, that You allow death, only to resurrect in newness of life. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

  2. The Lord Our Healer

Thank You Lord that You want to reveal Yourself to me. Lord, help me to never be satisfied with anything less than a personal revelation of You. Thank You for all the blessings You provide, Lord, for healing, provision, guidance, joy, salvation. I’m eternally grateful for that! But Lord, help me to first and foremost look forward to meeting You face to face. And help me now, Lord, when I’m still here, to seek You for Who You are, and not for what You give. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

  9. God’s Social Security

Dear Father, thank You for Your kind of Social Security. Thank You that You keep perfect track of how we steward what You have entrusted to us, especially by giving to the poor and needy. Lead me, Lord, to cast my bread on the water. Make me attentive to those who are in need and help me to give freely. Father, what a beautiful picture to know that, one day, when I step into Eternity, there will be people who will welcome me, because of what I’ve been able to do and invest in Your Kingdom. I pray You’ll lead me to invest wisely, in souls, so that they may be saved for Eternity. In Jesus’ Name amen.

  10. Financial Security

Dear Father, thank You that You’ve always provided so faithfully for me. When thinking about finances, please help me to think Your way and be led by Your Spirit. Lord, I know I won’t be able to take anything with me when You will call me home. Give me wisdom and insight where I may invest, to which ministry or person, to advance Your Kingdom. Show me where there’s real, eternal fruit, as so many times so much money seems to be wasted, or used in a way which doesn’t seem to glorify the Name of Jesus. Holy Spirit, lead and guide me, in Jesus’ Name, amen.
